The NCP720BMT150TBG from On Semiconductor is a fixed output, 350mA, very low dropout bias rail CMOS voltage regulator in 6 pin WDFN package. This VLDO is equipped with NMOS pass transistor and a separate bias supply voltage (VBIAS). The device provides very stable, accurate output voltage with low noise suitable for space constrained, noise sensitive applications. In order to optimize performance for battery operated portable applications, the NCP720 features low IQ consumption. It has VIN line regulation of 5µV/V at VIN = (VOUT + 0.5V) to 4.5V, IOUT = 1mA, VBIAS line regulation of 16µV/V VBIAS = (VOUT + 1.4V) or 2.5V (whichever is greater) to 5.5V, IOUT = 1mA. The WDFN6 2mm x 2mm package is optimized for use in space constrained applications. It is very choice for high current applications and it minimizes power loss across regulator. It is typically used in battery powered equipment, smartphones, tablets, cameras, DVRs, STB and camcorders and it is perfect fit for POL applications.
