The MC9S08JM32CGT is a 8-bit Application-specific Microcontroller based on enhanced HCS08 CPU (24MHz bus) with CISC architecture operates at a maximum frequency of 48MHz. The device incorporates 32kB internal flash, 2kB internal RAM, an analog comparator, 8-channel 12-bit A/D converter and 37 general-purpose I/O pins. This device also features peripherals like USB 2.0 full-speed (12Mbps) device controller, one inter-integrated circuit (IIC) bus module to operate at up to 100kbps, two serial peripheral interface modules (SPI), two serial communications interface (SCI) modules and real-time counter (RTC). Breakpoint capability to allow single breakpoint setting during in-circuit debugging (plus two more breakpoints in on-chip debug module). In-circuit emulator (ICE) debug module containing two comparators and nine trigger modes. Eight deep FIFO for storing change-of-flow addresses and event-only data. Debug module supports both tag and force breakpoints.
