The LPC11U37FBD48/401 is a 32-bit Microcontroller based on ARM Cortex-M0 core with RISC architecture operates at a maximum frequency of 50MHz. The device incorporates 128kB internal flash, 10kB internal RAM, 4kB EEPROM, two SSP interfaces, four general purpose counters/timers, 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter with sample rates of up to 400ksps, full speed USB 2.0 device and 40 general-purpose I/O pins. This device also features peripherals like one RS-485/EIA-485 USART with support for synchronous mode and smart card interface, one inter-integrated circuit (I2C) and two serial peripheral interface (SPI) modules. It is offering low power, simple instruction set and memory addressing together with reduced code size compared to existing 8/16-bit architectures.
