The ISO7641FCDW is a quad-channel Digital Isolator provides galvanic isolation up to 4242VPK per VDE. This device has 4 channels, three of which operate in the forward direction and one of which operates in the reverse direction. The C-grade device is capable of up to 25Mbps data rates with low power consumption and integrated filters for noise-prone applications. Recommended for lower-speed applications where input noise pulses of less than 6ns duration must be suppressed or when low-power consumption is critical. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, it prevents noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. The device has TTL input thresholds.
Robust design with integrated noise filter
Low power consumption
Extremely-low ICC_disable (C-grade)
150Mbps (M-grade) Signalling rate
7ns Typical (m-grade) low propagation delay
Output defaults to low-state in failsafe mode
50kV/µs Typical transient immunity
Long life with SiO2 isolation barrier
Green product and no Sb/Br
Device has limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
