The DV164101 is a low cost development PICkit 1 flash starter Kit with an easy to use interface for programming Microchip"s 8 pin/14 pin flash family of microcontrollers. This PICkit 1 flash starter kit is designed to help you get up to speed quickly using PIC microcontrollers. The PICkit 1 flash starter kit provides everything needed to program evaluate and develop applications using Microchip"s powerful 8 pin/14 pin flash family of microcontrollers. Instructions are provided in a series of seven tutorials that cover I/O, Interrupts, A/D converters, comparators, data tables and timers. The PICkit 1 flash starter kit comes preprogrammed with a demo program. Connect the PICkit 1 flash Starter Kit to the PC"s USB port using the USB cable. The demo program will blink the eight red lights in succession. Press the push button switch, labeled SW1, on the board and the sequence of the lights will change. Rotate the variable resistor RP1, and the light sequence will blink at a different rate.
