The DS75LVS+ is a digital thermometer and thermostat in 8 pin NSOIC package. Device measures temperature using a bandgap temperature sensing architecture. It has internally filtered data lines for noise immunity (50ns Deglitch). An on-board delta-sigma analogue to digital converter (ADC) converts the measured temperature to a digital value that is calibrated in degrees centigrade and requires no external components to measure temperature. At power-up, the IC immediately begins converting temperature to digital value. The resolution of digital output data is user-configurable to 9bits, 10bits, 11bits, or 12bits, corresponding to temperature increments of 0.5°C, 0.25°C, 0.125°C and 0.0625°C respectively with 9bit default resolution at power-up. The resolution is controlled via R0bit and R1bit in the configuration register. It is used in cellular base stations, office equipment and any thermally sensitive system.
