The ADS1209EVM is an evaluation board for the ADS1209 two channel ΔΣ modulator. This evaluation module features a 9 pin, female sub D connector that allows digital outputs from the ADS1209 to be fed directly to the AMC1210 digital filter chip. The ADS1209 is a two channel modulator that offers 86dB dynamic performance, operating from a single 5V supply. When used in combination with the AMC1210 or other digital filter, the ADS1209 can be used to achieve 16bit analog to digital (A/D) conversion with no missing codes. For use in high resolution measurement applications, an effective accuracy of 14bits can be obtained with a digital filter bandwidth of 20kHz at a modulator rate of 10MHz.
