1 Introduction
This document provides a summary of the differences
between Freescale’s MPC556x family of devices and the
MPC5644A, and may be used as an aid for planning a
migration to the MPC5644A.
The MPC5644A is available in 324 BGA, 208 BGA, and
176 QFP packages. This guide will only discuss the
migration between the MPC556x and MPC5644A with
respect to the 324 BGA package.
