The SN74HC125D is a quadruple Bus Buffer Gate with 3-state outputs and independent line drivers. The SNx4HC125 is designed for 2 to 6V VCC operation. Each output is disabled when the associated output-enable (OE) input is high. To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or power down, OE should be tied to VCC through a pull-up resistor, the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver. It is suitable for E-meters, TV set-top boxes and DVRs.
High-current 3-state outputs interface directly with system bus or can drive up to 15 LSTTL loads
80µA Maximum low power consumption
11ns Typical tpd
±6mA Output drive at 5V
1µA Maximum low input current
Device has limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
