The MCP1824T-5002E/OT is a 5V fixed output low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator provides high current and low output voltage. The device is stable using ceramic output capacitors that inherently provide lower output noise and reduce the size of the entire regulator solution. Only 1µF of output capacitance is needed to stabilize the LDO. Using CMOS construction, the quiescent current consumed by the device is typically less than 120µA over the entire input voltage range. The scaled down output voltage is internally monitored and a power good (PWRGD) output is provided when the output is within 92% of regulation (typical). The PWRGD delay is internally fixed output at 110µs (typical).
0.4% Output voltage tolerance (typical)
Fast response to load transients
0.1µA Low shutdown supply current (typical)
Short circuit current limiting and overtemperature protection
