The EVK2160A is an evaluation and development for applications using the AT42QT2160-MMU ("QT2160") 16 Key QMatrix integrated circuit (IC). In this Kit, the QT2160 is shown working in a battery powered "Standalone" mode, but can connected to a PC and/or User application by simple modifications to the EVK2160A evaluation board. the QT2160 is configured with 8 individual keys plus 8 keys configured as a slider. The kit provides a convenient reference design and lets designers visualize discrete touch buttons, the guard channel and LED control. It works as a standalone system, but can also be connected to a host or PC using the 9206 USB plug-in card. The included software can configure a number of device parameters to evaluate device operation. The device comes fully assembled, tested and documented.
