The AT91SAM9X25-EK is an evaluation kit that enables the evaluation and code development of applications running on a SAM9X25 device. The SAM9X25 is a High performance ARM926-based embedded microprocessor unit, running at 400MHz and featuring multiple networking/connectivity peripherals, optimized for industrial applications such as building automation, gateways and medical. The SAM9X25 features two 2.0A/B compatible controller area network (CAN) interfaces and two IEEE Std 802.3 compatible 10/100Mbps Ethernet MACs. Additional communication interfaces include a soft modem supporting exclusively the conexant SmartDAA line driver, HS USB device and host, FS USB host, two HS SDCard/SDIO/MMC interfaces, USARTs, SPIs, I2S,TWIs and 10bit ADC.

Three USB ports and two high speed SD/MMC interfaces
HS (EHCI) and FS (OHCI) host, multiplexed with HS USB device via micro AB connector
HS (EHCI) and FS (OHCI) host, via standard type A connector
FS only (OHCI) host, via standard type A connector
Two Ethernet 10/100 interfaces with On board MAC controllers and RJ45 sockets
One stereo CODEC interface with line-in and headphone jacks

One Two Wire Interface (TWI) and one ZigBee extension port
The board must not be subjected to high electrostatic potentials. In risky ESD environments a grounding strap or similar protective device should be worn when handling the board.
