The AT91SAM9G25-EK is an evaluation kit that enables the evaluation and code development of applications running on a SAM9G25 device. It is based on the ARM926EJ-S core embedded microprocessor unit, running at 400MHz and featuring connectivity peripherals, a high data bandwidth architecture, making it an optimized solution for industrial applications. The multi-layer bus matrix is linked to 2 x 8 DMA channels as well as DMAs dedicated to the communication and interface peripherals, ensuring uninterrupted data transfers with minimal processor overhead. Interface peripherals include a camera interface that supports direct connection to the ITU-R BT. Communication peripherals include a soft modem supporting exclusively the conexant SmartDAA line driver, HS USB host and device ports with on chip transceivers, FS USB host, 10/100 Ethernet MAC, two HS SDCard/SDIO/MMC interfaces, USARTs, SPIs, I2S, multiple TWIs and 10bit ADC.
Equipped with 400MHz CPU, external memory, DDR2-SDRAM (1Gb), NAND flash (2 or 4Gb),Three USB ports
HS (EHCI) and FS (OHCI) host, multiplexed with HS USB device via micro AB connector
HS (EHCI) and FS (OHCI) host, via standard type A connector
FS only (OHCI) host, via standard type A connector
Two Ethernet 10/100 interfaces with on board MAC controllers and RJ45 sockets
Two high speed SD/MMC interfaces and one ISI interface
One stereo CODEC interface with line-in and headphone jacks
One telephone/modem interface with RJ11 connector
Three serial interfaces (2x USART, 1x UART)
One Two Wire Interface (TWI), One Zigbee extension port
The board must not be subjected to high electrostatic potentials. In risky ESD environments a grounding strap or similar protective device should be worn when handling the board.
