The ACPL-077L*digital optocoupler** utilizes the latest CMOS IC technology to achieve 25MBd data rate and 6ns maximum pulse width distortion distortion with enhanced reliability relative to system level IEC 61000-4-X testing (ESD/Burst/Surge).
Basic building blocks of this*digital optocoupler** family are a CMOS LED driver IC, a high speed LED and a CMOS detector IC. A CMOS logic input signal controls the LED driver IC, which supplies current to the LED. The detector IC incorporates an integrated photodiode, a high speed transimpedance amplifier, and a voltage comparator with an output driver.
ACPL-077L provides an excellent guaranteed common mode transient immunity specification of*35 kV/µs at VCM 1000V**.
ACPL-077L is UL recognized with isolation voltage of 3750 Vrms for 1 minute, and IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-5 working insulation voltage VIORM of 567 VPEAK for reinforced insulation.
The ACPL-077L optocouplers are available in the SO-8 package.
