RELATIONS BETWEEN THE THREE ORGANS OF UNESCO: ROLE OF
THE GENERAL CONFERENCE WITH RESPECT TO THE MEDIUM-TERM
STRATEGY (C/4) AND THE PROGRAMME AND BUDGET (C/5)
OUTLINE
Source: 167 EX/Decision 4.1.
Purpose: After examining the question of relations between the three
organs of UNESCO in the Report by the working group of the Executive
Board on proposals for improving the functioning of the three organs of
UNESCO, the Board by 167 EX/Decision 4.1 (attached hereto), decided
to transmit to the 32nd session of the General Conference for its
consideration, pursuant to 31 C/Resolution 70, the following documents
which were examined by the Board during the 2002-2003 biennium:
165 EX/17 and Addenda, 165 EX/SP/2, 166 EX/20 and 167 EX/13.
Decision required: This document does not require a decision.
