The LM337IMP is a three terminal adjustable negative voltage regulator in 4 pin SOT-223 package. This regulator is exceptionally easy to apply and requires only two external resistors to set output voltage and one output capacitor for frequency compensation. The circuit design has been optimized for excellent regulation and low thermal transients. The LM137 features internal current limiting, thermal shut down and safe area compensation by making them virtually blowout proof against overloads. This positive voltage regulator is used in wide variety of applications including local on-card regulation, programmable output voltage regulation or precision current regulation.
